I was on my way home riding a tricycle.
It was a normal trip.
Something caught my attention: binubugbog ng limang kabataan ang isa ring teenager.
Immediately, I closed my eyes. Hindi ko kayang tignan ‘yon. But I decided to look again. Nakahiga na ‘yong binubugbog. Binigyan siya ng huling tadyak no’ng isang lalaki. Then, umalis na ang grupo.

Observation:
The incident happened at the market. Therefore, maraming tao. Pero nagimbal ako, wala man lang umawat sa mga bata. Nakita kong maraming nakakita, pero hanggang tingin lang sila. No one dared to stop them. No one had the guts to correct them.
Reflections:
Bakit ganito? Well, I guess, people would say na nangyayari talaga ‘yan. But then, it doesn’t mean that when it’s normal, it’s right. This, I guess, is another call for the ‘kabataan – pag-asa ng bayan’, for me: to be more responsible citizens for the future is in our hands. And also, a call to the once ‘kabataan’: to be able to help moulding the future care-takers of the world.
Nanlumo ako when I saw the incident. I was really affected. Yes, it was my first time to see a ‘fighting’ incident upclose.
Nanlumo ako. Naisip ko, nakakahiya. Naisip ko ang kinabukasan. Ganito ba? Ganito ba ang mga magiging gabay ng sunod na kabataan?
